Milania Giudice Honors Gabriella After Family Dispute
Milania Giudice publicly celebrated her sister Gabriella Giudice’s 22nd birthday with an emotional social media tribute, offering a warm family moment months after a reported domestic dispute at Teresa Giudice’s New Jersey home led to her arrest.
On Sunday, Milania, 20, shared a heartfelt message for Gabriella, writing that she is “the best sister I could ever ask for.” She praised Gabriella as “one of the smartest people I know” and said she was proud of the person her older sister has become. Milania also acknowledged strain in their relationship over the years, admitting that she had put Gabriella through a lot and had not always made being her sister easy.
She continued by thanking Gabriella for always being there for her, accepting her and loving her through everything. Milania also joked that she has long compared Gabriella to Cinderella and said the description still fits, even after her sister changed her hair color. Gabriella responded in the comments with a simple message telling Milania she loved her, while Teresa Giudice also left a birthday comment for her daughter.
The post included throwback family photos featuring Gabriella with sisters Gia, 25, and Audriana, 17, as well as their parents, Teresa Giudice and Joe Giudice, who are both 54.
Arrest followed reported family incident
The birthday tribute arrived several months after a family dispute in Montville Township, New Jersey, drew public attention. Fox News Digital previously confirmed that Montville Township Police responded to a report of a dispute at a residence on May 14. According to court records reviewed by the outlet, officers detained Milania at 6:12 p.m.
Police said the investigation resulted in Milania being charged on a summons complaint with one count of simple assault, a disorderly persons offense under New Jersey law. Chief Andrew Caggiano said at the time that a criminal complaint is only an accusation and stressed that Milania is presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in court.
Milania pleaded not guilty and was released pending a future court appearance. According to Page Six, her next hearing was postponed until Dec. 1.
TMZ reported that Gabriella was the family member who called 911 during the May incident. The outlet said Gabriella reported that Milania was allegedly acting erratically and throwing food and candles at the time. Those reported details added another layer of attention to the family situation, making Milania’s public birthday message to Gabriella especially notable.
Teresa addresses daughter’s recent struggles
The family has also faced renewed scrutiny after Teresa recently claimed that Milania had fentanyl in her system during an incident at Tampa International Airport. According to bodycam footage obtained by Page Six, Teresa made the remark while trying to explain her daughter’s behavior during an encounter with officers. In the footage, Milania said, “Cause I was laced ... I go to college,” before Gia told her, “You’re reckless.”
It remains unclear when the alleged fentanyl incident occurred, what substance Milania believed she had been given or who she thought was responsible.
After the bodycam footage was released, Teresa shared a lengthy social media statement asking for compassion and privacy. She said the past few months had been extremely difficult for the family and described Milania as a young woman dealing with heartbreak and significant psychological trauma after losing two of her best friends. Teresa said her primary focus was making sure her daughter is surrounded by love, family, support and the care she needs as she heals.
Against that backdrop, Milania’s birthday tribute suggested that despite a turbulent year, her bond with Gabriella remains intact.
