Heidi Klum Fans Say Her Topless LA Photo Made It Hotter

Heidi Klum has once again drawn a wave of attention on Instagram after sharing a bold poolside photo that quickly got fans talking. In the new post, the 53-year-old supermodel is seen relaxing topless on a daybed beside a swimming pool, wearing only a small pair of black bikini bottoms. Her dog is beside her, while a large grassy area and the pool stretch out in the background. Keeping the caption brief, Klum wrote, “It’s hot in LA.”

Her followers wasted little time reacting in the comments. Several praised her confidence and appearance, with one fan calling her the “greatest super model to ever do it.” Another described her as “Absolutely smoking hot.” Others played off her caption, saying she was only making Los Angeles even hotter. One commenter told her she was “making it hotter” in LA, while another added that the city was “especially” hot “with you there!”

The post fits a pattern that Klum’s audience knows well. She has never seemed especially hesitant about sharing revealing images on social media, and this latest upload is far from the first time she has posted a daring photo. In another recent Instagram post, she wished followers a good morning while posing outdoors in semi-sheer white underwear and a multicolored shawl worn without anything underneath. The loose wrap left much of her torso visible, highlighting her toned midsection and slim frame.

Klum has also spoken openly about why she feels at ease with nudity. In an August 2024 interview with Fox News Digital, she said her European upbringing shaped that comfort level. “I grew up… with a lot of nudity… on the beach… for me, this is no big deal,” she said at the time.

She continued by explaining that, from her perspective, being topless in certain settings is not meant to shock people. “It’s just a very common thing… it’s not like I’m doing something, ‘Oh, this is so out of line,’” she said. Klum also noted that she typically chooses beaches that are not crowded, adding that she does not feel she is upsetting anyone by doing so.

That attitude was also reflected in photos taken of Klum in December 2025, when she was seen walking topless on a beach in St. Barts with her husband, Tom Kaulitz. The images made headlines at the time, but they also aligned with the explanation she had already given about her comfort with public nudity and her view that it is not inherently controversial.

Halloween spotlight returns

Beyond her social media posts, Klum is also preparing for one of the events she is most closely associated with each year: her Halloween party. The annual celebration is returning this year and marks its 25th anniversary, a milestone that adds even more attention to what she will wear.

Klum has built a reputation for elaborate and highly theatrical costumes. Over the years, she has transformed into Medusa, E.T. from E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, an earthworm, and Princess Fiona from Shrek, among other memorable looks. Speaking to People earlier this month, the Germany’s Next Top Model host hinted that this year’s outfit will raise the bar once again. She said she thinks carefully every year about “how I can one-up myself.” Klum added, “All I can say is that we’re going bigger than ever,” and said she “can’t wait to celebrate” the “very special milestone” with everyone.

She also teased a darker direction for 2026. According to Klum, this year’s costume will be “much bloodier than in years past.” She said she loves finding ways to surprise people and expects the look to be gory enough to get a strong reaction, setting the stage for another headline-making Halloween appearance.
