Paige Spiranac leaves her fans speechless with 'fall golf' content series, Raiders fan fight & hot dog prices

Welcome to Screencaps, "America's Best Daily Column," as named by the readers. Screencaps, which publishes seven-days-a-week, is a mix of sports, pop culture, and emails from sane readers from around the world. This column isn't for the coastal elites. Give us a week to steal your heart. Our track record is pretty good. Let's have some fun.

Personally, I didn't need any influencing, but now that Paigeviews has officially dumped out fall golf content, I suddenly feel the urge to play MORE fall golf. There's something about those cold mornings with a buddy in a golf cart where you're both hacking up a lung after a long night of drinking and watching college football as the sun shines off the fairway dew.

There's something about getting out the golf cart seat blanket that I bought for those cold mornings. My buddy Diesel even figured out a way to hotwire a space heater to golf cart battery terminals so he can keep his cart warm. This guy even has a steering wheel cover that he'll break out to keep his hands warm.

When it's real cold, like Thanksgiving Eve, Diesel will get that space heater and put a cover over his cart and turn it into a hot box. It'll be 41 and chilly outside while 78 and tropical inside his cart.

The beauty of fall golf is the challenge. How long into winter can we go? We've played in SE Michigan on December 23. A pond on the course was frozen solid. But, the golf was good. The greens were rolling fairly smooth.

Paige's content this morning was a bat signal. It's a reminder that us men must do whatever it takes to breathe that fresh air before winter crushes our soul. Get your heaters out. Get your hand warmers from Costco – Lil Hotties – and get out there and play real golf before going indoors where you'll shoot in the 70s and think you're really good.

Thank you for your service, Paige.

Speaking of fall golf, I know this is going to make Ohio State fans puke, but I did go up with Canoe Kirk and a couple of other golf buddies to play Radrick Farms, a University of Michigan course. Beautiful course. Incredible design from Pete Dye.

Here's what surprised me: If there wasn't a sign at the road announcing it was a University of Michigan property, you wouldn't know it. Arriving at the clubhouse, there are no signs that I saw mentioning the school. The golf carts don't have massive 'M' logos on the side. They're not even yellow. Not even a yellow stripe. The tee boxes aren't Michigan branded. The golf cart tees they provide aren't Michigan branded. The scorecard had a 'M' on the front, but the M was face down on the scorecard clip.

PAIGE SPIRANAC NEEDS TO EMBRACE FULL INTEGRITY GOLF AFTER PUTTING INCIDENT, TRUMP'S NEW HIRE & DITKA!

I shot a full integrity 44-44 with 38 putts from 6,000 yards. No gimmes. I will have nightmares over No. 16. I reached in two and had a putt for eagle only to spray it way wide right. Three putt par.

For those of you keeping track, the last three courses I've played have been all private. It's time to get back to slumming it a little bit.

• Michael V. in Florida emails: I have watched College Gameday for many years and was very hesitant about Pat McAfee replacing Lee Corso. Like just about any fan of the show I was a big fan of Corso even though he had a lot of trouble speaking the last few years. That being said, I do enjoy some of what McAfee has brought to the show. He is a little over the top sometimes but his enthusiasm seems genuine and he is not afraid to say and do things that ESPN doesnt agree with. The kicking contest every week is also entertaining. The show will.never be the same without the head gear pick but I still enjoy it.

• Ryan F. tells on himself: My guy, you work for a content farm. I used to enjoy Fox sports articles before Outkick came along and now it's all poorly written tripe with a clear agenda of national division, just like this article. Please retire from writing and do something better with your life.

Kinsey: I guarantee Ryan liked the narrative that the cops were called on the 3-year-old kid for being "too good" that the parents pushed. Ryan clearly didn't like that I went out and contacted the Winter Park police to get the real story of what's going on here: The parents are a pain in the ass.

Ryan wanted me to explain where parents are supposed to send a 3 year old for soccer in Orlando. It turns out Paris Saint-Germain runs an academy for 4U kids in town. You know, the famous PSG club where other prodigies are training.

COPS CALLED TO FLORIDA YOUTH SOCCER GAME TO DEAL WITH PARENTS OF 3-YEAR-OLD SOCCER PRODIGY

But...but...but...it's expensive! The family could've shown up at the door with their kid and PSG would figure out a way to work with their finances. The kid is that good. You don't think PSG wouldn't want him in their club? Shame on Ryan for being such a LIB moron.

• Rick in Sanger, TX asks: The youth league soccer director knew the kid was too good last season, why did they allow him to compete with three-year-olds again?

Kinsey: I emailed i9 Sports asking questions about the incident and for the organization to provide some clarity. They still have not responded to those questions. My guess is that i9 is terrified of banning any kid from playing, but once the parents became a total pain in the ass, then they had grounds for removal. Were the parents a pain in the ass in the spring/summer? We don't know.

• Joyce complains: My granddaughter was put on a 6u team. She missed the cut off date for the next level up (8u) by 12 days. We warned everyone that she was a good player since she had attended a few soccer clinics the last couple of years.  She ended up dribbling around everyone scoring at least 5 or 6 goals in the first 5 minutes of the game.

After a couple of games she was told to play in the back field and pass it to the other kids so they could score goals. That was okay for part of the game but not the whole game each week. It was like she was being punished for being a good player and she had just turned 6 years old. They clearly did not want her scoring goals. As a result, We have to get her back in the soccer clinics for her to get her skills back to where they were.  All of that and not to mention my dad was one of the original founders of the AYSO. I’m sure that’s not what they intended. Needless to say we will be switching to club soccer as soon as she’s old enough!

Kinsey: Find better clubs. There are plenty of clubs out there that will take your money at the 6U level.

• Another Joyce emailed: I’ve coached youth sports for years. I cannot believe the parent! If the kid was fouling every kid wouldn’t he  be given a red card from the referee, not a jelly parent? I was in trouble when my team beat the other team really bad and we were holding back, they threatened to disband my team! It’s all about everyone gets a trophy.

• Jason DeM. fires back: Whoa whoa whoa, pump the breaks a little bit bro…. "To me making it a performance is all about the singer making it more about them then the Anthem itself. Which is no different than taking a knee."

You’re joking right? You’re comparing a talented singer putting a slight variation into their rendition of the National Anthem to scumbags who protest it? Not even close to being the same thing.

Also, I’m a vet as well and Gary doesn’t speak for all who proudly served.

Having said that, I think this young lady did a fine job but doesn’t hold a candle to Whitney or even Chris Stapleton’s Super Bowl anthem.

Did Big Plastic have some sort of deal with Big Cereal to make us go like 75 years without innovation?

• Dean in Wisconsin emails: No!  Never!  Not if I can have any say in it!  I don’t trust my local Kroger affiliate to have their employees pick my food out for me.  I worked in grocery stores almost a half -century ago when I was a college student and I wouldn’t have trusted my fellow employees to "shop" for me then!

I want to "eye ball" any and all fresh fruits and vegetables as well as check the sell by dates on meats, dairy products, and breads – I always go with the date that is the farthest into the future.  Would I trust a grocery store employee to do that?  Hell, no!  I would expect to get a gall on of milk that has a sell by date of the day I picked it up if I let the store employee pick it out for me.

There is an employee at my local Kroger affiliate who does the shopping for online customers who I call "Co usin Itt" .  Cousin Itt was a character on the "Addams Family" TV show whose hair covered his face and body entirely .  This employee has hair that covers his entire face, sort of like Cousin Itt .   Yes, you can’t see this guy’s face.   I have no idea how he sees anything .   The one time I did partially see his face, it was covered in body piercings.  Would I trust him to do grocery shopping for me?   Umm, no.

• Bob K. checks in: There is no way I am trusting anyone to pick out my food.  My wife hates grocery shopping , so every week I look at the Publix specials ( BOGO’s ) and make my plan and go to Publix every Saturday and do the shopping, ( I sometimes even put a pineapple upside down in my cart, if you know you know ) just to see if I get any reactions.  Not to be disrespectful, but I see the people who are doing grocery deliveries in the store and no way in H E double hockey sticks am I going to trust them to touch my food, pick out my food, put it in their vehicle and bring it to my house, just not happening.
